ADVISORY NOTICE

KGC not accepting applications for new EGD facilities

(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWÁKE – January 15, 2024)

The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (“KGC”) wishes to advise the community that it is not currently accepting applications for any new EGD facilities. The KGC has been advised that the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (“MCK”) is considering whether new EGD facilities should be permitted within the Territory. The KGC will not amend its regulations to allow for additional EGD facilities unless and until MCK provides the KGC guidance and direction in this regard. MCK and the KGC will keep the community informed if there are any changes in relation to this matter.

About the Kahnawake Gaming Commission

The KGC was established in 1996 and has been licensing and regulating online and land-based gaming within Kahnawà:ke since that time.
