COMMUNITY CONSULTATION NOTICE

(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWÀ:KE – January 13, 2021) The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (“KGC”) is currently considering an application for a poker room licence.As per the Regulations concerning Poker Rooms (the Regulations), the KGC is posting a thirty (30) day community consultation notice.

Before making a decision on the application, the KGC is requesting that any interested community member submit questions, concerns or comments to the KGC via email to info@gamingcommission.ca. The deadline has been extended until February 1, 2021 due to the Christmas holidays.

The application is in the name of Rez Dawgs Poker. The location of proposed poker room is on Route 132 (Lot # 82, Block H).

In addition, as per the Regulations, the KGC has previously consulting with the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke, Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers, Public Safety, and other community organizations regarding this matter.
