INCREASE OF FEES
(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWAKE – August 13, 2026) – The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (the “Commission”) hereby provides notice that the application and renewal fees applicable to Client Provider Authorizations (“CPAs”) and Key Person Permits will increase effective January 1, 2027.
Why is this Change Happening?
The fees applicable to CPAs have only been changed twice since they were first introduced, most recently in 2016. For Key Person Permits, the fees have never been changed since they were first set.
The revised fees are intended to more appropriately reflect the work and associated costs involved in processing applications, completing due diligence, assessing renewals, and supporting the Commission’s ongoing regulatory oversight.

The annual fee for a CPA remains USD $20,000 and the annual fee for a Key Person Permit remains USD $1,000; these amounts are unchanged by this Advisory Notice.
When Do the New Fees Apply?
- The revised fees apply to all complete CPA applications, Key Person Permit applications, five-year renewal applications submitted to the Commission on or after January 1, 2027.
- Complete applications and renewal applications submitted before January 1, 2027, will continue to be assessed under the fee schedule in effect at the time of submission, even if they are finalized on or after January 1, 2027.
- Annual fees for existing CPAs and Key Person Permits are unaffected by this Advisory Notice and will continue to be invoiced as before.
