KGC RESPONDS TO LOTO-QUÉBEC INTERVIEW

(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWÀ:KE – October 2, 2013) – The KGC today issued a letter to Gerard Bibeau, President and CEO of Loto-Québec, correcting a number of erroneous statements made by a representative of Loto-Québec in a recent radio interview. Given that many of these statements impugned Kahnawà:ke’sjurisdiction over gaming and the community generally, the KGC have drawn this matter to the attention of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke for their further action.
