PLATINUM POKER CLUB (FORMERLY STARDUST POKER MANSION) VOLUNTARILY TERMINATES POKER ROOM LICENCE
(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWÀ:KE – August 4, 2014) – The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (the “KGC”) recently received written notice from Platinum Poker Room (formerly known as “Stardust Poker Mansion”), requesting that its Poker Room Licence be voluntarily terminated. The KGC has granted this request and, accordingly, Platinum Poker Room (formerly known as “Stardust Poker Mansion”) is no longer licensed to operate as a poker room in Kahnawà:ke.
The Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke is a sovereign jurisdiction located just outside Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission was established in 1996 and has been continuously licensing and regulating online gaming since July, 1999 and poker rooms within the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke since 2007.
