NEW CHAIRPERSON APPOINTED TO KGC 

(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWÀ:KE – April 2, 2015) – The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (the “KGC”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Mark Jocks has been appointed as Chairperson to the KGC, effective immediately. Chairman Jocks will replace previous Chairman, Dean Montour, whose mandate ended on March 31, 2015. Mark has extensive experience in various parts of the online gaming industry, including regulatory support and information technologies. The KGC welcomes Chairman Jocks and looks forward to working with him. 

The KGC wishes to extend its sincere thanks to Dean Montour for the extraordinary service that he has provided as Chairperson over the past seven years. Under Mr. Montour’s leadership, the KGC has significantly enhanced its regulatory effectiveness – particularly in the area of player protection – and has become one of most well-recognized and well respected online gaming regulating agencies in the world.
