REGULATIONS CONCERNING AML/CTF

(MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWÀ:KE – 07 July 2021)—To further enhance its regulatory regime, on 30 June 2021, the Commission enacted the Regulations concerning Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing (the “Regulations”). The Regulations will strengthen the AML/CTF provisions that have always been a part of the Commission’s interactive and land-based regulations and demonstrate the Commission’s commitment to maintaining a robust regulatory environment for gaming activities conducted within and from the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke. The Regulations were developed after extensive consultations with experts in other jurisdictions.
